OURIMPACT

Our Impact

At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Siouxland, we believe in the incredible potential of every child. Through one-to-one mentoring relationships, we empower youth to dream big, build confidence, and navigate life's challenges with resilience and hope.

Each match between a Big and a Little is a powerful connection that creates lasting change. Our mentors help children improve in school, develop stronger relationships with peers and adults, and gain the self-esteem needed to pursue their goals. The consistent, caring presence of a mentor can be life-changing—and we see that impact every day.

In Siouxland, we’re proud to serve children facing adversity by providing them with positive role models who inspire, support, and uplift. Our Littles come from all walks of life, but they all share something in common: a need for someone to stand by them, believe in them, and cheer them on. And that's exactly what our Bigs do.

Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community—one child at a time.

  • Have higher aspirations for college and career
  • Are more likely to become mentors themselves

Summary
